Infodemic

Roles: Visual Coordinator, Design and Photography

Infodemic is NewsHouse’s multi-award-winning year-long reporting project about scams, misinformation, and distrust. It’s entirely student-made, featuring an impressive deepfake on the home page and student work throughout the website. Over 100 students and a dozen staff took part in the project. I took on many roles in this project, but most importantly I was the visual coordinator. This position entailed finding artists to create imagery for articles, managing the creative production schedule, and editing photos and designs for consistency in the web theme and articles. We completed our visuals ahead of schedule and maintained a cohesive look throughout. I was able to manage the creative team and parttake as a creative on this project.
